Mission
We dream big at FutureGro. For us, hydroponics isn't just a hobby – it's the future of farming. While traditional agriculture has worked in the past, we are now reaching a point at which we need a new solution. One more sustainable, water efficient, space efficient and faster. As empty land plots decrease in number and population goes up, we need a more efficient system. We strive to educate our community and make hydroponics more accessible.
Purpose
At FutureGro, we prepare for the future. Traditional farming drains our planet’s resources and won’t be able to sustain our population for much longer given accessible farmland area. We stand for sustainability, championing novel practices that are environmentally conscious.
We need to prepare for the future now, before we face dire consequences of not adapting. By educating our community, we hope to promote the use of hydroponics and the teaching of it in classrooms.
Vision
At FutureGo, we have a strong community presence. Ranging from events at local temples to a mini hydroponics farm at home, we target all audiences.
As a team, we believe that educating our community is the most powerful tool we have to promoting sustainable agriculture. We imagine a future with people of all wakes alike studying and designing hydroponics systems.

Barriers to Hydroponics
While hydroponics is significantly better than conventional agriculture in many aspects, there are several barriers to its adoption. One of the largest barriers is technical knowledge. Many hydroponics systems require much knowledge to operate and maintain. This discourages the development of hydroponics farms. We strive to break down these barriers and educate the public, having the goal to provide people the skillset and means necessary to practice a more modern farming.
Our Journey
It all began in 2023, with a singular classroom and a dream. That dream? To transform the very essence of agricultural education. Our first undertaking was a small little hydroponics system in a small little home (as shown in the bigger picture). Having great success there, FutureGro will expand to provide access to hydroponics to the larger community and host local events.
We are not stopping there. This movements is one that impacts our entire world and is crucial to ensuring sufficient produce is created, while minimizing the effects on our environment by farming. This is why we need your help now.
